Another from the old car series

I'm still having a hard time figuring out why a person with a camera is so threatening to some people. Once again, I was harassed while shooting. It started out with some threatening looks from one of the local rednecks, and ended up with him telling me I couldn't be there. "Excuse me", I said, "but this is a public street and I have every right to be here."

The two photos added today begin a small series on old cars. I found these in Lehi, Utah.

I climbed a fence onto private property to get this image. I kept waiting to hear someone in a Mr. Burn's style voice yell out "release the hounds", but fortunately that never happened. Of course there is no private residence here, and I think the owner simply uses this area to keep livestock from time to time.

Trees

I love big trees. Too many of them are being chopped down to make way for "progress", in the form of another Wal-Mart, and a huge parking lot.

Willow Park

With the way these trees look you'd think this was shot in hurricane or tornado country. It must have simply been one large scale pruning effort.

Rockin' out on his second birthday

Here's my future rock star. He'll probably be the drummer for a band called something like "Radioactive Road Kill", or "Screeching Buzzard".
